So. I haven't heard from you today. This makes me sad. I miss you. Is it sad that even a silly text would make me feel better at this point? The only part that realy bothers me is that you were suppsed to be back today and when I called you your phone was off.

    Seriously

I hate my national manager. How do you start off asking what our offices expected hours are for the week. Then question them. Then tell me that since I sent them up our office is committd to hit those hours no matter what. When he knows damn well how high a turnover rate we have.

When you ask for expected hours I give you that. EXPECTED. That's not a definate ammount. That an estimate.

    Fuck this shit for real.

This job daily brings me into contact with people that fill me with disgust, fear, contempt, and occasionaly pity. But seriously, how do you graduate high school and not know how to read? How do you have nasty forty teeth when you are 20 years old and not find some way to go to a dentist? I mean I understand cavities, but when you come in wearing your expensive brand name urban clothing and your bling and have teeth rotten and broken into nasty little jagged points looking like something from a old REN AND STIMPY episode, I think your priorities are seriously mixed up.

    i have kinda slacked off
i should have made my post about this a long time ago.

anyway, its that time of year, Christmas. the Season of Giving, Compassion, and Love.

Being stuck in a Hospital sucks. Doubly so when you are there at Christmas time. ChildsPlay is a charity that helps get toys and video games to kids in Children's Hospitals around the world at Christmas time which helps make these kind of stays a lot less like hell and a lot more like life should be for them.

help out. even if its only a few bucks through paypal. you will feel good about it and i guarantee some kid will as well.

it wont cure cancer, but it will brighten up a kids life at a really tough time.

man do i need to learn.
if i gotta wake up EVERY morning at 7am maybe i need to go to sleep a little earlier. last night i was sooo dead tired i fell asleep on the couch over at the HER at around 11:30

    not cool.

i have a terrible headache right now. and i really with it would go away.

    cause i dont like it.

i never got around to posting about thanksgiving but it was pretty good. dinner here was great, and then when me and robbie and ivan went to my moms even that went pretty good.

last night i saw Rush Hour 3 with Stephanie. I love the entire Rush Hour series. i need to watch Rush Hour 2 again. i saw Rush Hour 1 earlier last week, but i haven't seen 2 in a good while. all very funny movies.

Burger King has these York Peppermint Patty pies that i just found out about. they are amazingly good.

i am so glad i didnt have to wake up at 7am today.

im gonna enjoy not being at work till 3 today.

i totally didnt update about the Fall Out Boy!, Gym Class Heroes, Cute is What We Aim For, and The Plain White Ts concert in Roanoke that me Cullen and Lauren went to for Cullens Birthday.

    well, it was freaking amazing.

i still havent really gotten around to editing any of the pictures and stuff. ( i took 2 gigs of picture and video)but i have these two pics to post for now.

there is Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy being, well, Pete.

and a shot of The Plain White T's (who were AMAZING!)

    more to come.

a pretty good week / weekend
i know i know i am horrible at updating, but so is everyone else so :P

Wednesday i went over to Jeffreys house after work to ear Bear Stew. it was goooood! watched Talladega Nights and basically hung out with Jeffrey, Cullen, Drew and Charlie.

Thursday i took off early from work and went with my boss michelle to go see my co worker jason's band Hambone and the Bearcats at the drowsy poet. it was interesting. they are at the least very amusing. and i got out of work for it, so that is good.

Friday i had off from work and got to sleep in a bit. after that i drove all over trying to find a copy of Puzzle Quest for the DS, unfortunately nowhere had a copy. so i had to break down and buy a copy online.the only real downside to that is that i gotta wait for it to come in. however good shipping was pretty cheep so it should be here tomorrow. yay for that, cause Puzzle Quest is realy addictive. its like Bejeweled with an RPG character building element and a story line thrown in there. as if Bejeweled-ish game play wasnt addictive enough as it is, they throw in spells that affect game play, armor and weapons and other items that affect the game play and oh i know this game is gonna be bad for me. ^_^

Friday evening i went to see war with Stephanie, Karen and Karen's Roommate Ana, and i thought it was pretty good. Jason Statham war great in it. Jet Li was as two dementional as he is in most of his english speaking roles unfortunately. the plot twists were good though and so was the action. i would definatly watch the movie again. wasnt the best, but it was good.

Saturday i worked from 8:30 - 5:00 then came home and relaxed for a bit and then went to the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra thing, A Clutch of Concertos. it was pretty much amazing. i wasnt too big on the Organ Concerto by Handel but i loved Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1. Alycia Hugo, the soloist was great. and then they played Spring and Winter from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The Four Seasons are among my favorite classical pieces and Spring is probably my favorite among them, it is just so powerful. and Akemi Takayama who played the violin solos was amazing.

Saturday evening after the LSO thing i went and played Halo a bit with Ash, Jeff Dunnaway and Emily. Legendary is seriously annoying with a crapload of them skulls on.... i also started what has turned into a baking spree...

Sunday i went to church with Stephanie and then came home and started baking some more... i swear i think i am addicted to making brownies... Sunday was spent baking, playing halo and just hanging out. Ash was here when i got back from church and Jeff Dunnaway came over, left then came back, then Jeff Carey came over and when Ash went to his meeting at work me Jeff Jeff and Emily went to Walmart and Target then came back and made Smoothies. why they wanted me and Jeff Carey, who have no idea how to make smoothies, to be in charge of their making i do not know. we made a tremendous mess and had to alter our smoothie mix and pour most of it out and half start over a ton, but the end result was something not altogether unlike a smoothie and it was pretty good tasting. Jeffrey and Cullen came over later in the evening and we finally ended up watching the Second Fantastic Four movie. it wasnt bad but i cant say it was good either. the writing was terrible.

    lack of updates.
been a lil busy. not enough to warrant my total lack of updating. that is pure laziness.

my car should be unbroke this week.jet li is gonna help me get the alternator out so i can get it checked out. this is good. i dont mind driving the jeep, but i miss my car.

i finished reading Angels & Demons and am now reading The Da Vinci Code. i likes. ^_^

been managing to play a bit of halo 3 online and this is also good.

also watched Superman Returns finally. i liked it a lot. Superman II is still my favorite of all the Superman movies though. i am a lil bit iffy on the ending of Superman Returns, but other than that i liked it a lot.

my new job thing is going well, i am learning all the office stuff pretty quickly and actually kind of enjoy some of it. it is much better than calling people on the phones, and starting this week i am going to be working 40 hrs a week, which will be a very good thing for mr. paycheck. i am really looking forward to being able to save up some money. not just saving up to buy something specific, but just saving. like in having a savings. this will be good. it will make me feel a lot better about myself if i can have some money in the bank and not have to do the whole paycheck to paycheck thing.

i actualy had fun with Math!!!
i dont know if i have ever said those words before. but Stephanie showed me this new method for teaching Algebra yesterday that uses this balance beam educational toy thing and it was freaking neat. Its called Hands-On Equations. apparently according to what she said they are teaching like 9 year old kids Algebra using this method and they are doing better than 12 year olds who learn it regular. just from what i saw yesterday i can easily agree that this method is better. (i suck at math, and haven't done anything more complicated than balancing my checking account in years.) using the balance beam method though and the manipulators made it so much easier to make sense of stuff though cause you can visualize it easier.

all i can say is i am impressed. and i hope they start teaching it that way all over cause maybe if i had been introduced to Algebra like that i wouldn't have hated it so much and then maybe i wouldn't be horrible at math today.

other than Math fun, we watched The Prestige which is still an awesome movie the second time around.

i ahve been reading a whole crapton of books lately. a lot of stuff i Newbery award books i missed out on growing up. ill probably do a whole post about my summer reading cause i read quite a bit this summer. ^_^ i am very happy with how much i have been reading lately. i have been finding and making time for reading which for a while i didnt have.

Halo 3 comes out like, tonight. i am very excited. but also kind of sad. its like Harry Potter 7 was for me. i am interested and excited to finaly find out what is going to happen, but it is also gonna be an ending. and a close to this chapter in the Halo universe. i am glad though that they want to end it at 3 games. the halo universe is very rich in detail and i would love to see them do more with different aspects of it, but i think it is right not to drag this story out until no one cares cause they are only milking Halo 36 for as much money as they can get. ya know?
